A huge THANK YOU to the AFSCME Council 4 Political Team. After the NP-3 Bargaining Team negotiated a Tentative Agreement, that agreement was pushed to the finish line by your C4 Political Team, and (YOU) membership support. A big thanks to (L-R) Michael Adams, Legislative & Political Assistant, Zak Leavy, Deputy Director, and soon to be retired, Brian Anderson, Associate Director. Thank you gentlemen for always focusing on the legislative impact to our members!

The Senate Voted on 4/29/26 in favor 26-10 to approve Senate Resolution 12 including our NP-3 Contract! The vote was party line with lone Republican John Kissel joining the Democratic Majority to approve the contract. Thank you Senator Kissel for supporting our members and the vital services they provide! Take note on how your senator voted, and return the favor at the ballot in November! Support those that support us!

The House Voted on 4/29/26 in favor 107-42, 2 no vote to approve House Resolution 12 including our NP-3 Contract! The vote was bipartisan with Republicans Callahan, Delnicki, Hall, Howard, McCorty, & Vail joining the Democratic Majority to approve the contract. Thank you Republican Representatives for supporting our members and the vital services they provide! Take note on how your Representative voted, and return the favor at the ballot in November! Support those that support us!
The bills assigned House Resolution-H.R. No 12 and Senate Resolution-S.R. No 12 that make up SEBAC 26 have been voted to recommend approval by the Appropriations Committee. It is unfortunate that the vote of these contracts fell along party lines. We thank those Reps and Senators that voted to support our members! On to the House and Senate!
We still need YOUR help! That means it’s all hands on deck. Legislators respond when they hear the personal stories of working people, like you! We need every member to contact their legislators and urge them to approve our contract to help protect public services and address the staffing crisis. Take a moment to contact your elected officials via the Action Network link above!
On 4/13/2026 the Lamont Administration announced that 32 tentative agreements, ratified overwhelmingly by Union Membership (including NP-3) have been submitted as SEBAC 2026 to the clerks of the House and Senate. Click above for the full press release.

On 3/6/2026 NP-3 Membership overwhelming PASSED the Tentative Agreement! 98.0% voted YES!!

Your NP-3 bargaining team is excited to share that the NP-3 bargaining team has reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) for a successor contract for our members. We know you are hearing many rumors, and we want to alleviate some of your anxiety. We are preparing for informational sessions that will review the new contract changes. These sessions will start next month, will be held virtually via ZOOM and are dedicated to our NP-3 members in good standing.
